Bark in the Park 2016 presented by Town ‘N’ Country Animal Hospital will be held on Wednesday, July 13, at Burlington Athletic Stadium. The game will begin at 6:30 pm, but the gates open at 6:00 pm. Bark in the Park is always one of the most popular nights of the season for the Burlington Royals. Spectators should arrive early to make sure the receive their free Bark in the Park T-Shirt, courtesy of Town ‘N’ Country Animal Hospital. Shirt design is by our own talented Rebecca May.

Pooch Pass. Bring your four legged friends to the ballpark with you, by purchasing a $2.00 pooch pass. The proceeds from these passes will directly benefit the Humane Society of Alamance County.

Pooch Parade. Prior to the start of the baseball game there will be a Pooch Parade. If you decide to participate with your furry friend, you will have a chance to win a gift bag stuffed with prizes, also courtesy of Town ‘N’ Country Animal Hospital. Prizes will awarded for superlatives such as Best Groom, Most Unique Name, and Best Training.

Dog Park in the Ball Park. In addition to usual ballpark amenities, a dog park area has been constructed for the event. This was added to give more active dogs something to do other than sit with their owners in the stands.

Town ‘N’ Country Booth. During the game, visitors can visit the Town ‘N’ Country booth, where they will have the chance to meet and speak with the owner of the practice, Dr. Sharon King, DVM and other support staff. Town ‘N’ Country will also have bags to hand out, full of pet health information and give-aways. While there, guests can register in a raffle to win prizes valued up to $200.
