How You and Your Dog Can Save Lives
Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Bark for Life is an exciting, canine event to help in the fight against cancer. Don’t miss Alamance County’s first Bark for Life at Cedarock Park on August 13th from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
To participate in the Bark for Life dogs’ walk, you simply register on-line with a $20 commitment fee (per dog and owner). After that, anything you can raise with pledges is graciously accepted and appreciated.
Vets and representatives from Town N Country will attend and invite you to join in the fun. Besides the dogs’ walk, you and your dog can join in the games and contests. Purple Bandana’s in larger and small will be handed out at registration until we run out. So make plans to arrive early to get your dog their purple bandana! Prizes will be awarded for the dog that raises the most money, the one that has the most sponsors and much more!
With every step you and your dog take, you help the American Cancer Society save lives. You can take pride in knowing that you’re working to create a world where this disease no longer threatens the lives of our loved ones or claims another year of anyone’s life.
