dr corbinYou may have met Dr. Stanley (Stan) Corbin DVM, MPH, who has recently joined our team of veterinarians. Dr. Corbin achieved his veterinary degree at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He began his career mentoring in a mixed-animal hospital, and subsequently started Pleasant Garden Veterinary Hospital in Greensboro, an Equine and mixed animal practice.

The ambulatory service at Pleasant Garden enabled him to engage in part-time and relief small animal work experiences, including Family Animal Hospitals, Emergency Hospitals, and Spay and Neuter Surgery Clinics. He also was able to teach, sharing his experiences with others.

As a life-long learner, he completed a Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Iowa in 2022. He pursued this degree as he recognized how important animal health is to human health.

A human-animal bond advocate, he is passionate about health on both ends of the leash, and hopes to leverage this connection for health promotion and disease prevention for all. Dr. Corbin’s background and training make him a very welcome addition to the gifted staff of Town N Country Animal Hospital.

Dr. Corbin’s personal life-long goal is to rehabilitate the historic 1820 Summers House in Gibsonville. He enjoys homesteading there with his Carolina Dogs Shelia, Kick, JD, and Kiwi. When opportunity arises, traveling away, adventuring locally, and helping others fulfills his life.
