As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself expressing thanks over and over for the many blessings in my life. Chief among those blessings are the incredible team here at Town N Country Animal Hospital. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the dedicated professionals who make up our staff, each of whom plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
I literally count my blessings every day knowing that I am surrounded by a staff who has my back, deeply loves our clients, and will be advocates for our patients at any time. This group is here because of their love of veterinary medicine and their passion for the welfare of animals. There is very little glory in their jobs. They are dedicated, affectionate, often hard-core, always hard-working, compassionate, empathetic, and completely sold-out for you and your pets.
Our receptionists are the friendly faces and voices that greet you when you walk through our doors or call for an appointment. Their warmth and efficiency – and treats – ensure that each visit starts on a positive note. They manage the busy front desk and the ever ringing phone and are always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.
Our technicians and nurses are the backbone of our hospital. Their expertise and attention to detail are vital in delivering the highest standard of care that you expect from Town N Country. From conducting diagnostic tests to providing hands-on care, their skill and compassion shine through in everything they do. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, often going above and beyond to ensure our patients’ well-being.
I am equally thankful for my fellow veterinarians, who bring their knowledge, experience, and dedication to our practice every day. Their commitment to continuous learning and improvement is evident in the exceptional care they provide. They collaborate seamlessly, sharing insights and expertise to tackle even the most challenging cases. I have to give a special shout out to Dr. King, for hiring me so many years ago, for our years working together, and making the transition this year a seamless process.
And last, but not least, our daycare and kennel staff also deserve special mention. They ensure that our furry friends have a safe and enjoyable environment while their owners are away. Their patience, creativity, and love for animals are evident in the smiles and wagging tails we see every day.
Together, this amazing team creates a supportive and nurturing environment that benefits both our patients and their owners. Their hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for each member of our staff.
