There are so many ways families show love to their pets – cuddles, walks, toys, treats, good nutrition, and good veterinary care. Preventive care is one of the most meaningful ways to support a pet’s long‑term health. Routine exams, vaccinations, and screening tests help catch concerns early and keep pets feeling their best. But staying on schedule can be challenging when costs vary throughout the year.
That’s where Snout comes in. Our new Snout Preventative Wellness Plans bring together the routine preventive care our veterinary team recommends for your pet’s species and stage of life, with predictable monthly payments over a 12-month commitment. Town N Country provides the veterinary care, and Snout administers the plans and payments. Families pay Snout each month, Snout pays us for the services included in the plan, and any services outside the plan are paid by the client at checkout.
Office Visits. Each plan includes covered office exam fees, which means the cost of the exam itself is included whenever you bring your pet in for a scheduled visit. This helps you feel comfortable reaching out early when you have a concern. It’s important to know that diagnostics, treatments, medications, procedures, and hospitalizations are not included in the exam fee and are billed separately. For example, if your dog comes in with a new lump, the exam fee is covered by your plan, but any testing or treatment related to the lump would not be.
Preventive Services. Beyond exam fees, each plan includes bundles of preventive services tailored to your pet’s age and needs, things like vaccines, bloodwork, and other routine screenings. Plans are available for puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, and senior pets.
Add‑On Options. Families can also choose optional add‑ons for eligible spay/neuter procedures, dental cleanings, and parasite prevention.

Wellness Plans vs. Pet Insurance. It’s important to know that wellness plans are not pet insurance. They do not cover every illness, injury, or unexpected veterinary expense. Instead, they cover the preventive services listed in the selected plan, helping your family stay consistent with the routine care that keeps pets healthy and happy.
We’re excited about Snout, and we think you will be, too. If you’d like help choosing the right plan, our team is here to guide you! Explore your options with no commitment here.
