So who is on the team? We’re glad you asked!
Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact for you and your pet. They’re skilled in communication, empathy, finding solutions to your problems, and putting the ‘happy’ in Happy Visits. Whether you need to schedule an appointment or have questions about your pet’s health, they’re here to help with a friendly smile and a listening ear. Their bowls of treats have made many a pet feel comfortable.

Exam Room Nurses at Town N Country are Patient Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) experts. They are committed to making sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible during their visit. They keep our DVMs (Doctors of Veterinary Medicine) in line and are medically trained to understand what your pet needs. Their compassionate care makes a world of difference for pets and for their families.
Veterinary Assistants are the right hand of our DVMs, handling all the technical work. From drawing blood and placing IV catheters to monitoring anesthesia, they ensure that every procedure is carried out safely and efficiently. Their expertise allows our veterinarians to focus on diagnosing and treating your with exceptional medicine.
Kennel Technicians are daycare playmates on the outside, but at their heart, they are FAS experts. They can spot signs of stress and communicate individual patient needs to the team. Known as the “comfort police,” they work to make your pet’s stay with us as pleasant and Fear Free as possible. Whether your pet is here for boarding or daycare, our kennel technicians are dedicated to their well-being as well as fun!
Managers are the backbone of our hospital, keeping everything running smoothly. They’re gifted at handling the administrative tasks that might seem boring to others (like payroll—ugh, right? lol). But more importantly, they advocate for our staff, clients, and pets, ensuring a harmonious and efficient working environment for the team.
Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVMs) are diagnosticians whose main job is to prevent disease and investigate and treat any illnesses that aren’t prevented. Their expertise and dedication to veterinary medicine ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. They’re the heart of our hospital, working tirelessly to keep your pets healthy.
But don’t let the six parts fool you. There are many parts of our jobs that overlap, and that doesn’t just include passing out treats. We all work to keep our hospital Fear Free; in fact, every single one of our staff members are required to be Fear Free Certified? (Do you have more examples about how the vet helps the kennel worker who helps the receptionist who takes up the slack for the nurse….)
At Town N Country, we provide clear room for growth and education and a work-life balance. We are committed to providing our staff with the training and resources they need to grow professionally in a supportive and respectful environment. We cross train, and we teach each other.
