We are truly overjoyed to announce that we are adding another veterinarian to our team at Town N Country. Dr. Kaitlynn Hicks will be joining us June 6th and we can’t wait.
Dr. Hicks will be helping our small animal patients with medicine and surgical services and critical care. She has a special interest in exotic animal medicine which means you’ll see her in many places in the hospital, especially if you have an exotic animal like a rabbit, rodent, reptile, or bird.
Originally from Gastonia, NC, Dr. Hicks went to UNC-Wilmington for undergrad and she went to North Carolina State for veterinary school. She’s the proud wife of a soldier. Their family consists of three dogs (Saige, Oakley, and Maverick), a rabbit (Stormi), and a bird (Piper).
Dr. Hicks tells us, “I’m excited to grow connections with our clients while providing the best care I can for their furry, feathered, and scaled family members. I’m in love with anything that involves sea turtles and my favorite thing to do is go to the beach and to visit aquariums.”
