AAHA Day (#aahaday) is coming up! Come help us celebrate our American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Accredited status with tasty refreshments and treats for you and your pet next Monday, July 22nd from 2-6pm!
AAHA is the organization which holds us to much higher standards than your typical run of the mill vet. If you notice, we do things a little bit differently for our patients and their families. Nearly 60 percent of pet owners believe that their pet’s veterinary hospital is accredited, when it is not. In actuality, only 15% of animal hospitals have gone through the AAHA accreditation evaluation process.
Unlike human hospitals, veterinary hospitals are not required to be accredited. Accredited hospitals are the only hospitals in the U.S. and Canada that choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards that go above and beyond basic state regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services.
